PURPOSE: This two-day, sixteen-hour class is designed for students transitioning from iron sight pistols to pistols with mounted red dot sights (RDS).
OVERVIEW: Pistol mounted RDS are valuable tools for improving shooter accuracy, speed, situational awareness, field of view, maintaining threat focus, and self-diagnosing grip and trigger deficiencies. Use of these systems is quickly becoming the standard in law enforcement and the military due to the officer and public safety benefits they provide.
Fundamentals of Pistol Mounted Red Dots is intended for students with experience using pistols, yet have no formal training using pistol-mounted RDS. This course will provide attendees with an overview of RDS technology, shooting with pistol-mounted RDS, and additional training practices going forward.
